Your cosy bedroom
Since our bedroom is supposed to be our rest haven, we would need to ensure that it is clean and tidy so that we could have a proper rest after a day of hard work. How can we clean our bedroom to ensure a comfortable nest for us to rest? Below are some pointers:
- Change your bed linens at least once a week
- Do not leave dirty clothes lying around and ensure they are deposited in a basket meant for dirty linens
- Clear the rubbish in your rubbish bin daily
- Clean/Vacuum your wall and floor to ensure it is dust-free
- For standing fans, clean at least twice a month, especially the blades which could trap dust within a short period of time. For ceiling fans, it is advisable to use a pillowcase to clean the blades as the dust might fall on the bed or furnitures nearby
- Lastly, freshen the whole place by spraying freshener or by using a scented candle.
This is the place where all family members normally spend most of their time communicating with each other or watching television together. Therefore, you can expect that the living room will mostly be filled with human particles either on the sofa, carpet, floor or even in the coffee table!
So where do we start? You might want to start from either your sofa or coffee table and leave the cleaning of your floors and carpet to the last. Always remember the golden rule to start cleaning from the high ground before moving to the lower surfaces.
