How much do cleaning services cost in Singapore in 2026?
Most single cleaning jobs for a Singapore home cost between $72* and about $1,085*. The low end is a 3-hour housekeeping session. The high end is a 4-room post-renovation clean with a deep floor scrub. Recurring housekeeping is billed by the hour. One-off jobs, such as post-renovation, move-out and spring cleaning, are priced by flat type. Mattresses, sofas and curtains are priced per item. Every Sureclean price on this page is a published starting price before GST, and first-time customers get 10% off.
Over a year, most households spend more on routine upkeep than on one-off jobs. Our weekly home cleaning costs as low as $22/hour*, and sessions usually run 3–5 hours. One-off deep work costs more: spring cleaning from $600*, post-renovation from $350* and move-in or move-out from $370*.
Some providers give only a range, and others ask you to book before you see a figure. Helpling, an online booking marketplace for part-time cleaners, publishes hourly rates on its site. We publish a price for each flat type so you can check any quote against a fixed number.
What does weekly or fortnightly home cleaning cost?
Weekly and fortnightly home cleaning cost the same hourly rate, as low as $22/hour*. Sessions usually run 3–5 hours, so a 3-hour visit starts from $72*. Longer commitments get lower rates, which we confirm in writing when you book.
What the hourly rate covers:
- Included: general cleaning of living areas, kitchen and bathrooms, plus dishes, laundry, ironing and bedsheet changes.
- Priced separately: work that needs specialist equipment, such as mattress, sofa or curtain steam cleaning. These rates are listed further down this page.
The number of hours you need depends more on layout than on floor area. A 3-room HDB flat with two bathrooms can often be covered in 3 hours. A 5-room flat or a condo unit with three bathrooms, a balcony and a weekly ironing pile usually needs 4–5 hours. Singapore’s humidity also matters. If the bathrooms and window tracks are wiped every week, mould rarely builds up to the point where you need a full spring clean.
How are HDB post-renovation cleaning prices set?
Post-renovation cleaning starts from $350*. It is priced by flat type because renovation dust settles on every surface, including inside cabinets and along window tracks. The HDB prices, before GST, are:
- 2-room $370*, 3-room $475*, 4-room $525*
- 4A $580*, 5-room $580*, 5A $630*
- Executive (EM/EA) $735*, 3-Gen $750*, Jumbo $840+*
Condominiums and landed homes are quoted by size because their layouts vary too much for fixed prices.
Deep floor cleaning is a separate add-on and is never included. It scrubs tiles, grout and vinyl to lift cement haze and stains. Prices are 2-room $360*, 3-room $500*, 4-room $560*, 5-room $600*, EA/5-room improved $680*, EM $850* and Jumbo $900*. 3-Gen, condo and landed homes are priced on request. A full package is the sum of the two, so a 4-room flat with both costs $525* + $560* = $1,085*.
BTO owners whose contractor has just laid new vinyl often skip the floor add-on. Resale flats with old tiles and grout lines usually benefit more from it. See post-renovation cleaning and floor deep cleaning.
What do move-out, spring and specialist cleaning services cost?
Move-in, move-out and end-of-tenancy cleaning starts from $370*, and most jobs cost between $475* and $525*. Landlords and tenants often book it before the handover inspection, so any talk about the deposit starts from a clean flat. Spring cleaning, or one-time deep cleaning, starts from $600*, and most jobs cost between $700* and $800*.
Per-item and specialist rates:
- Mattress: single $105* dry / $125* wet, super single $115* / $140*, queen $140* / $165*, king $165* / $195* (both sides). Baby cots start from $85*.
- Fabric sofa: dining chair $75*, 2-seater $205*, 3-seater $225*, 3-seater L-shape $240*, 4-seater $245*, 4-seater L-shape $260*.
- Curtains: on-site steam cleaning costs $35* per panel, or $40* for blackout panels. A typical 3-room flat with 6 panels costs about $210*.
- Rugs: $150*–$160* depending on size. Wall-to-wall carpet is quoted by floor area.
- Disinfection: from $265*, typically $370–$475* per session.
- Formaldehyde removal: $600–$1,100* for a whole home, or about $900* for a 5-room flat.
- Washing machine: top-load $188* standard / $238* deep; front-load and washer-dryer $288* / $338*.
How is office and commercial cleaning priced in Singapore?
Office and commercial cleaning is priced per contract or per visit, never per hour or per square foot. Two offices of the same size can need very different amounts of work. Recurring contracts start from $350/month*, and contracts for larger offices start from $690/month*.
- Ad-hoc cleaner (3–4 hours): $150* on weekdays, $200* on Saturdays, $250* on Sundays.
- One-time office deep clean: $500–$1,150*.
- Commercial post-renovation cleaning: $650–$2,000*.
We clean offices, clinics, retail units, F&B outlets and gyms. Clinics and F&B outlets often combine a recurring contract with regular disinfection, which is priced separately from $265*.
When you compare quotes, ask how many cleaners are sent, how many hours each visit lasts, whether consumables are included and who supervises the crew. A low monthly price that relies on one cleaner for a large floor rarely holds up past the first month. See commercial cleaning services for what each contract covers.
What should you check before accepting a cleaning quote?
Go through this checklist before you accept any cleaning quote in Singapore, whether it comes from us or from another company:
- 1. Confirm the flat type and size. A 4A flat and a 4-room flat are priced differently, and condo and landed homes are quoted by size.
- 2. Ask whether GST is included. Every Sureclean price on this page is before GST.
- 3. Check what is excluded. Deep floor scrubbing is not part of post-renovation cleaning, so ask for it as a separate line item.
- 4. Ask who will turn up. Our cleaners are our own trained crews, not agency or marketplace workers, and they bring their own equipment.
- 5. Check the licence and insurance. Sureclean is NEA-licensed (NEA240120/6509C/C3/N01) and carries S$1,000,000 public liability insurance.
- 6. Agree what happens if something is missed. If you are not satisfied, we come back to re-clean the area.
- 7. Apply any discount. First-time customers get 10% off.
Send photos or a floor plan on WhatsApp to +65 6983 9523, and your quote will be closer to the final price.
When should you call a professional cleaner?
Book professional help when cleaning is no longer a 30-minute job and starts taking up your weekend. In Singapore this usually happens in one of three situations.
- Both adults work long hours. A 3-hour weekly session from $72* keeps floors, bathrooms, laundry and ironing under control without a live-in helper.
- The humidity is winning. In a humid flat, mould in shower grout, musty wardrobes and dusty fan blades come back quickly. A weekly visit stops them building up into a spring-cleaning job costing from $600*.
- You have just moved in or renovated. Start with a one-off post-renovation or move-in clean, then switch to regular visits.
Sureclean’s weekly home cleaning is done by our own trained crews, who bring their own equipment. Weekly and fortnightly visits cost the same hourly rate. We have cleaned more than 50,000 homes since 2013 and have a 4.9-star Google rating across 1,500+ reviews. You can compare our other services on the cleaning prices page.

When you do not need a professional
You do not need a professional for light daily upkeep in a small, well-ventilated flat. If you already wipe the bathroom after showers, sweep every few days and do your own laundry, a weekly visit may add little. The same goes for a single stain on a sofa or a small spill on a mattress: blot it straight away with water and a mild detergent first. Call in help when the work keeps slipping or needs equipment you do not have.
