Some households do not need a cleaner – they need a helper. If you require all-day childcare, eldercare, cooking, or a continuous presence in the home, no amount of part-time cleaning hours will solve that. A live-in migrant domestic worker is the right arrangement, and it is a genuinely different commitment: a work permit, a monthly levy, medical insurance, a security bond, accommodation, and the responsibilities of being an employer.
